Learn everything there is to know about newborn and maternity posing in this once-in-a-lifetime workshop with one of the world’s leading newborn and maternity photographers!
The newborn portion of the workshop will focus on how to safely pose, soothe, calm, and keep newborn subjects happy and sleepy. In addition to discussing how to set up a newborn session using studio light, we will dive into lenses, equipment, exposure, and white balance so that you know how to get the perfect SOOC image. Erin is a very hands-on teacher when it comes to her newborn workshops, and will be there right beside you (and sometimes literally move your head into the right spot!) to insure you are capturing the correct angles right from the start.
This workshop will also focus on both studio maternity posing, lighting, and angles. Learn how to work with your clients to bring out the best in each of them. The posing and editing techniques taught by both Erin will allow you to feel confident during your own sessions and create stunning and timeless images for your clients to treasure for a lifetime. You will be able to photograph each setup and Erin will be there next to you guiding you so that you can get that perfect SOOC shot every single time.
We will also be going over Erin’s complete editing workflow, as well as discussing business, and conducting and open and honest Q&A where you can ask Erin literally anything – she will be an open book!
Workshop attendees receive will be provided with a fabulous workbook (containing information discussed as well as additional information about setup, workflow, and business matters), a copy of Erin’s Newborn editing & NEW beach maternity editing video(and some other goodies). Providing videos for editing insures that you can watch over and over from the comfort of your own home as many times as you like. These videos are included in the tuition cost at no additional cost. Attendees will also receive gift certificates and discount vouchers from Erin favourite newborn & maternity prop vendors.

1. Deposit: $395 AUD (approx 320 USD) non-refundable deposit upon booking // Please note: all deposits are charged in USD and remainder payments will be invoiced directly to you in AUD .
2. Installment 1: $300 AUD instalment 90 days prior to the workshop
3. Installment 2 : $300 AUD instalment 30 days prior to the workshop

What’s Included: Morning tea, a full lunch, drinks and snacks, workbook, all business forms and pricing structures, discounts from SHOOT BABY!, as well as goodies from our prop sponsors.
What You’ll Need: A DSLR – it is assumed you are comfortable shooting in manual mode and have basic understanding of aperture, ISO and shutter speed, a 50mm or 35mm prime lens, and a macro lens (optional). All skill levels are welcome, but a basic knowledge of Photoshop is strongly recommended (I will be using ACR and Photoshop CS5).
Attendee Cancellation: Please note that the 395 AUD deposit is non-refundable. If cancellation is made after full payment has been submitted, you may transfer to another date (pending availability). If you can fill your spot with another attendee, you will be refunded the balance, minus the 395 AUD deposit.
Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Once registered, you will be emailed (to your paypal email address) further information, including a detailed itinerary.
Workshop cancellation policy:
Strict minimum and maximum numbers apply to Erin Elizabeth workshop events. An event may be cancelled, postponed or moved to a different date if the number of attendees is less than the minimum number of attendees required. Erin Elizabeth reserves the right to cancel a paid event due to unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, confirmation will be sent one week before the event (at the latest) to confirm that the event is being cancelled, postponed or rescheduled.
